This module will explore treatment considerations for patients who are using stimulants and participating in treatment for opioid use disorder.

Learning Objectives

• Describe the clinical implications of stimulant use by individuals with opioid use
  disorder (OUD)
• Utilize strategies for detecting clinically significant stimulant use by patients in
  treatment for OUD
• Identify elements of treatment plans that are tailored to the needs of patients with
  stimulant use
• Employ strategies to address difficulties that may occur over the course of treating
  patients with stimulant use
