Amalia Amy Zamot
Senior Capacity Building Assistance Manager, HealthHIV
Amalia has worked in the HIV field for over 25 years, beginning with Ryan White case management before serving as the Regional Minority HIV/AIDS Coordinator for southwest Florida. She later served as Director of Prevention and Community Services for a community-based organization focused on equitable access to services for vulnerable populations. She is passionate about HIV prevention and treatment with a strong focus on Black women’s health and wellness.
Steve Wood
Senior Education and Advocacy Coordinator, HealthHIV
Steve has worked in the HIV/AIDS field since 1986 across clinical research, biomedical research, curriculum development, and direct community service. Prior to joining HealthHIV, he directed an advocacy program serving 14 counties with 21 staff. He brings extensive experience as a community-facing worker, administrator, and trainer.
